David cook is so good that he doesn’t steal songs, he takes good songs and makes them into GREAT songs. Nothing wrong with that. And name 1 performance on American Idol that wasn’t somebody’s song… You’re supposed to sing other people’s songs. They’re given 1 week to come up with an arrangement and perform. That’s hardly enough time to write a song.
